Traumatic brain injuries organization
IGEH/INRO
IGEH/INRO is a collaborative non-profit, non-governmental organization (NGO)
based in Vienna, Austria, with it activities directed internationally.
Our mission is to improve the treatment of patients with moderate and severe traumatic brain injury through applied research into preventing, treating TBI patients and reengineering trauma systems in the region by discovering new evidence or applying it into practice. In order to do this we create research networks and partnerships. We are opened to students, scholars in their early years of professional life through peer-visits and mentoring. We are dedicated to sharing our results with broad public, both lay and professional, by using printed as well as electornic media.
IINRO is organizing a symposium titled “TBI in Austria- Reality Check” on the 19th April 2018 in Wien. The goal of the symposium is to summarize INRO’s findings generated by all the projects implemented so far.
